Description

An organization with critical societal operations is now seeking a Level 1 IT Support Technician for a long-term assignment within internal IT support. The assignment involves being an important part of the support function and working closely with the organization's users to ensure a stable and functioning IT environment.

In this role, you will handle support cases, orders, and incidents, as well as provide technical support to users within the organization. You will be part of a team that works systematically with case management, troubleshooting, and installation of IT equipment. This role is suitable for you if you are service-oriented, technically curious, and want to develop within IT support in a larger organization where IT delivery is critical to operations.

You will work in an environment where accuracy, documentation, and efficient case management are central, while also contributing to a good user experience through professional support and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

As an IT Support Technician, you will handle incoming cases via the organization's case management system, phone, and helpdesk. You are responsible for correctly registering and classifying cases and ensuring the right prioritization and handling according to applicable SLA and OLA levels.

The work involves troubleshooting and installing client hardware and software, as well as providing user support in the organization's IT environment. You will work with administration of user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and manage orders and installation of software.

Your role will also include distributing software, working as a dispatcher by reallocating cases to the appropriate specialist group, and documenting solutions and procedures in the knowledge database to contribute to more efficient support processes. If necessary, you will also support the organization during internal and external live broadcasts where technical support is required.

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements

  • IT education, such as a high school diploma with an IT focus or vocational training

  • At least 1 year of work experience as an IT Support Technician

  • Experience in permission management in Active Directory

  • Experience in troubleshooting and installing client hardware

  • Experience working with the Windows 11 operating system in a support role

  • Basic knowledge of networks in the role of IT Support Technician

  • Experience working with orders and incident management in ServiceNow or similar case management systems

  • Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in ServiceNow

  • Experience providing technical support during streaming or live broadcasts over the internet

Conditions
  • Location: Sundbyberg / Stockholm

  • Remote work: Not possible

  • Extent: 100 %

  • Assignment period: May 4, 2026, onwards

  • Working hours: Full-time

  • Security clearance and background check required by the client

  • Travel to other offices within Sweden may occur
